Associate Product Manager

About the Role

We seek an Associate Product Manager with approximately two years of experience to support our ektruck control tower platform and its connected IoT solutions, including ADAS, DMS, and telematics systems. This position demands a solid mix of customer engagement, operational insight in logistics, and foundational technical knowledge relating to APIs, system integrations, and IoT.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison connecting customers, operations teams, and development units to ensure seamless product delivery and execution.
• Gain deep understanding of customer workflows, particularly focusing on fleet operators, OEMs, and transporters.
• Collect and analyze requirements surrounding fleet tracking, route optimization, toll integration via FASTag/APIs, and safety technologies such as ADAS/DMS, translating these into actionable product features.
• Collaborate extensively with internal tech teams to launch new features on the ektruck platform while monitoring deployments including control towers, dashboards, and alert systems, maintaining SLAs and deadlines.
• Coordinate technical aspects including APIs for FASTag, ULIP, telematics data flows, GPS/IoT device data, and backend logic like ETA calculations and alert mechanisms.
• Convert customer needs into precise user stories and technical specifications for developers.
• Support onboarding of new clients by assisting in vehicle mapping, route setup, alert configurations, and KPIs while working with support to address issues promptly.
• Draft product requirement documents, workflow charts, SOPs, and conduct user acceptance testing prior to product release.
• Maintain comprehensive release notes and documentation for continuous feature updates.
• Manage communication between customers, tech teams, sales, and operations departments providing regular progress reports on feature developments and deployments.

Required Skills and Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or implementation roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering fields such as B.E., B.Tech, or Computer Science preferred.
• Basic technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, IoT and telematics platforms, and SaaS solutions.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Excel, and data dashboards.
• Preferable experience in logistics, fleet management, or supply chain sectors, including familiarity with GPS tracking and FASTag or toll integration systems.
• Knowledge of control tower platforms and Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability to uncertain situations, effective communication skills bridging customers and engineers, and a problem-solving approach.
