Associate Project Manager - Data Centres

About the Role

Join AECOM as an Associate Project Manager specializing in data centres and colocation facilities. Based in Dublin, you will play a vital role throughout the entire project lifecycle — from initial concept and design phases to procurement, construction, and commissioning — ensuring that projects are delivered with exceptional standards of reliability, performance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and deliver multiple simultaneous data centre projects.
• Drive business growth through repeat engagements by consistently executing projects at high quality.
• Maintain targeted profit margins without financial setbacks across assigned projects.
• Lead projects that involve identified Risk Triggering Factors by proactively addressing and mitigating potential challenges.
• Steer complex client interactions and oversee technically demanding, high-value projects.
• Exercise decision-making authority to help project teams identify risks and apply effective mitigation plans.
• Guide teams to perform efficiently while minimizing exposure to contractual disputes.
• Mentor and supervise Project Managers in charge of multiple projects or larger programmes.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a postgraduate degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
• Active progression toward Chartered status with professional institutions such as RICS, CIOB, ICE, RIBA, or Engineers Ireland.
• Membership or affiliation with the Association for Project Management (APM) is advantageous.
