Audit Supervisor

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Audit Supervisor will deliver timely and high-quality client services as an integral member of client engagement teams working with companies of various sizes across multiple industries. The role involves building solid relationships, thoroughly understanding clients’ businesses, needs, control systems, and industry accounting standards, and applying RSM US’s audit methodology to perform audit procedures and documentation meticulously. The supervisor will identify risk areas, research technical accounting issues, prepare audit reports and management letters, and ensure adherence to professional ethics and quality standards.

Leadership is a key aspect, including providing supervision and training to associates and senior associates, owning tasks to meet client expectations, and collaborating effectively within teams. The role also expects participation in ongoing professional development and contributions to multiple team projects with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce
• For non-qualified professionals: minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• CA qualified applicants require at least 4 years of relevant experience
• ACCA/CPA qualified candidates need minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including GAAP and GAAS standards
• Excellent multitasking and project management abilities
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills for regular interaction with international clients and US-based teams
• Preferred: advanced data analytical skills such as Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
• Preferred experience in the Investment Funds industry
