Clinical Data Coordinator

Role Overview

The Clinical Data Coordinator will assist in fundamental clinical data management tasks related to specific projects. This includes ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance according to standard protocols, sponsor requirements, industry practices, and regulatory standards. The role supports departmental and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support preparation of essential data management documents across trial phases such as startup, maintenance, and closeout.
• Contribute to basic testing of databases and edit checks to ensure data quality.
• Conduct data reviews and generate queries as needed.
• Enter data accurately where required and update databases to correct errors.
• Help generate SAS requests and review resultant reports for accuracy.
• Assist in creating data transfers and verifying outputs.
• Complete activities required to finalize clinical databases and related documentation for sponsor handoff.
• Maintain approved study documentation appropriately within trial master files.

Departmental Support

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for Data Management and contribute knowledge sharing, training, and education.
• Act as an advocate for the Data Management function both within the organization and externally.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of a 1-2 year post-secondary certification in a relevant field, or 1-3 years of related experience with ongoing learning.
• Self-driven with effective communication skills and a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and recognition of the importance of collaboration to achieve results.
• Commitment to continuous learning, self-improvement, and fostering teamwork.

Additional Information

Salary Range: CAD 41,000 to 68,000 per year.
Location: London, Ontario (hybrid/remote position).
Reporting to: Manager, Clinical Data Management Support.
