About the Role

Daffy is seeking a passionate and skilled Content & Editorial Lead to drive the company's editorial voice and strategy. This role focuses on crafting insightful and engaging content related to personal finance, charitable giving, tax strategies, and philanthropy. You will oversee the entire editorial process, from conceptualizing ideas to publishing and analyzing content performance, ensuring the brand maintains a trusted and compelling presence across multiple channels including blogs, social media, and video.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute Daffy's editorial calendar, maintaining a consistent publishing schedule of 2-3 high-quality content pieces weekly.
  • Create engaging articles covering areas such as personal finance, charitable donations, tax planning, product insights, and member experiences.
  • Ensure Daffy's brand voice is coherent and evolving across blog posts, social media, video content, lifecycle communications, and member messaging.
  • Collaborate directly with leadership, including the VP of Marketing and CEO, to generate executive thought leadership, announcements, and founder-driven content.
  • Conduct interviews with members, financial advisors, and internal subject matter experts to create original stories and viewpoints.
  • Partner with the Head of Growth Marketing to enhance organic reach through robust SEO and AI search strategies, aligning organic and paid content efforts.
  • Develop content tailored for both traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
  • Track and analyze content metrics, keyword rankings, and trends in AI search to refine editorial focus and improve outcomes continuously.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to support product launches and campaigns, independently producing polished visual assets using tools like Canva, Figma, and AI-based applications.

Qualifications

  • Highly self-motivated, extremely well-organized, and excited to take ownership of a critical content leadership role within a fast-paced startup atmosphere.
