Description de l'emploi
Role overview
This opportunity is with a well-established Tier 2 national builder delivering a major industrial project in Perth valued at more than $30 million. Although the business operates nationwide, the Western Australia team is small and closely connected, giving the right person strong visibility across the entire project journey and real influence on day-to-day delivery.
The position is based in a dedicated site office and involves working side by side with a Senior Project Manager and Site Manager in a focused, collaborative project team.
What you will do
- Handle subcontract administration from start to finish.
- Manage the procurement process and award trade packages.
- Prepare cost updates, forecasts, and budget tracking reports.
- Oversee progress claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate closely with site and project leaders to support successful delivery.
About the ideal candidate
The role is suited to someone with 3 to 8 years of experience in contract administration, preferably on commercial or industrial construction projects. Prior exposure to a head contractor environment is important.
You should bring strong commercial judgement, a sharp eye for detail, the confidence to work independently, and the ability to communicate clearly while contributing positively to a small team.
Why this role stands out
- Join a respected Tier 2 builder with strong backing across the country.
- Work in a lean, experienced WA team with minimal bureaucracy.
- Gain direct access to senior leaders and key decisions.
- Be embedded on site and closely involved in project delivery.
- Receive a salary package of up to $160,000 plus superannuation.
Additional information
This role is best suited to someone who prefers being close to the detail, taking ownership of outcomes, and contributing within a hands-on, delivery-focused team rather than a large layered project structure.
