Role Overview

We seek a dedicated customer service professional to assist trade customers both in person and by phone. The role demands a friendly and knowledgeable individual who can guide clients in selecting suitable vehicle parts, efficiently manage orders, and provide excellent service to maintain strong customer relationships. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, including alternate Saturday mornings.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to trade customers at the counter and on telephone inquiries, offering attentive and helpful service.
• Provide expert assistance in identifying appropriate automotive parts and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Accurately pick, pack, and process orders ensuring timely delivery.
• Identify chances to upsell or suggest complementary products enhancing the customer experience.
• Foster enduring relationships with the loyal client base through continuous support and engagement.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably with exposure to automotive or trade sectors.
• Proficiency with computers, including basic skills in Excel.
• Genuine enthusiasm for cars and automotive parts.
• Strong communication capabilities combined with a positive and proactive mindset.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-moving environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented attitude, contributing cooperatively within the workplace.
• A valid full New Zealand driver's license is necessary.
