Overview
Join the Data Analytics team at ODW Elektrik and contribute actively to shaping the company's digital future. As a globally operating mid-sized automotive supplier with about 3,000 employees, ODW combines technical expertise with data-driven decision-making. In the role of Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to implement your ideas directly and generate tangible benefits across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted reports and data analyses to support decision-making across various departments and sites.
- Create reports, interfaces, and dashboards that contribute significantly to data-driven process enhancements company-wide.
- Coordinate the standardization of the reporting environment by replacing decentralized solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Collaborate with external consultants to further develop and administrate the Data Warehouse structure.
- Optimize and manage data flows between complex ERP data sources and dashboards, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Lead Data Analytics projects together with project partners from initial requests, consulting, prototype development, and implementation through to GoLive.
- Support the establishment of a data-driven culture within the company.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
- Experience & knowledge including:
- From initial to several years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence roles.
- Proficient in data visualization, preferably with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar tools.
- Skilled in data modeling, data integration, data preparation, and visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with ERP database systems is advantageous.
- Experience in IT project work or as a key user.
- Personal attributes: reliable, communicative, proactive, highly team-oriented, hands-on attitude, open to new ideas.
- Work style: independent, structured, analytical, pragmatic, goal-oriented, with ability to collaborate closely with non-technical teams.
- Language skills: fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
