Electronic Technician

About the Role

Khidmah is looking for a skilled and motivated Electronic Technician specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems to join their Facilities Management team based in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. The technician will handle installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of various ELV systems to ensure they function safely, efficiently, and in line with company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect, and repair ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address systems, structured cabling, intrusion/security, and intercom systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on ELV equipment.
• Identify and diagnose faults promptly to reduce downtime.
• Conduct regular inspection and testing to ensure system integrity and compliance.
• Interpret technical wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete assigned work orders efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company protocols during all work activities.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs and compile service reports.
• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and materials required for ELV system maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• At least five years' hands-on experience in installing and maintaining ELV systems.
• Proven background in Facilities Management operations is essential.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is required.
• Strong understanding of ELV system troubleshooting and preventive care techniques.
• Competency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and drawings.
• Good communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Available to work on-site and provide timely responses to emergency maintenance calls.
