About The Role
We seek a specialized case management professional with extensive experience in workplace investigations and mediation between two parties. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing diverse employee concerns and swiftly formulating focused solutions that respect workplace policies while addressing both employee and organizational needs.
Candidates must demonstrate at least 5 years of practical experience managing high-volume cases. Strong critical thinking skills used to resolve complex interpersonal and employment issues are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Employee Labor Relations (ELR) cases globally, involving interpersonal conflicts and misconduct allegations such as harassment, discrimination, bullying, and retaliation.
- Evaluate case contexts, evidence, and documentation to recommend fair actions addressing misconduct and restoring workplace relationships.
- Facilitate mediated conversations aimed at repairing employee relationships.
- Keep confidential records within a shared case management tool and use it to spot trends impacting employee groups, enabling informed organizational responses.
- Build effective, action-oriented partnerships with HR, Employment Legal teams, and business leaders at various levels.
- Contribute to or lead priority projects within Employee Labor Relations.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in employee relations case management, workplace investigations, or mediation; additional credit for advanced degrees such as Juris Doctor or graduate studies in Counseling or Mediation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in Spanish, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
- Strong case management skills including planning, organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Restorative Practices, Restorative Justice, or comparable methods like Mediated Discussions and Community Circles focused on harm reduction.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, policies, and standards combined with extensive workplace investigation skills.
- Ability to mentor team members worldwide and independently achieve results without daily supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
For roles based in New York City, the annual salary ranges from USD 150000 to USD 167000. Eligible employees may participate in bonuses, equity awards, a 401(k) plan, and other benefits.
Work Location and Culture
While remote work is supported, employees must spend at least 50% of their time on-site unless fully remote work is approved. Some roles require full-time presence at office locations.
