Role Overview
This part-time Data Analyst position is situated in Melbourne, Victoria, offering a flexible hybrid work setup that combines on-site presence with remote work capabilities. The role focuses on gathering, cleaning, and structuring data from multiple sources to aid organizational reporting and decision-making processes.
Key Duties
- Assist in developing foundational data models and perform exploratory data analyses.
- Create clear and insightful visualizations and dashboards.
- Support senior analysts across various projects.
- Document analytical methodologies and outcomes for transparency and reproducibility.
- Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders using straightforward language.
- Maintain rigorous data quality standards and contribute toward the ongoing enhancement of analytics tools and workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with a fundamental understanding of data analysis principles.
- Basic competence in statistics and data modeling concepts.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient with spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets, and at least one data analysis tool or programming language such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Detail-oriented with a keen willingness to learn and adapt in a collaborative hybrid work environment.
