About the Role
U-Haul is seeking organized and proactive Facility Housekeepers dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment at their facilities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring U-Haul delivers outstanding service by keeping storage units, hallways, and common areas spotless.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping floors in storage units, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
- Responsible for trash disposal throughout the facility.
- Monitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory, placing orders as necessary to keep stock updated.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support facility maintenance.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Eager and willing to learn new tasks and processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Job entails moderate risks requiring safety measures such as usage of protective clothing, masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
- May involve exposure to machinery, irritant fumes, or chemicals.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving outdoors, reaching various heights, and handling equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, either with or without assistance.
