Finance Operations Manager

Job Summary

As a Finance Operations Manager at Intas Pharmaceuticals, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with Group standards. You will provide insightful analysis of operational performance, uphold stringent financial controls, and support audit processes. This position requires collaboration with various departments to optimize cost efficiency and drive continuous finance process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial results adhering to Group reporting guidelines.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and clear explanations for operational performance deviations.
• Maintain rigorous financial controls compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by supplying necessary documentation and explanations.
• Update and maintain standard cost data for existing and new products, ensuring prompt communication of adjustments.
• Manage annual cost roll including labor and overhead rate settings.
• Reconcile intercompany purchase price variances supporting legal entity URP calculations.
• Provide cost estimations for new product launches, pricing strategies, and business case support.
• Identify cost drivers and opportunities for expense reduction through analysis and monitoring.
• Analyze supplier-related external purchase price variances across materials.
• Track and analyze inventory including quarantined and restricted stock categories.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to assess financial implications of GMP issues such as batch failures and deviations.
• Oversee work order processes, addressing exceptions and ensuring accurate reporting of work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Engage with Operations leadership to understand production plans, labor models, and performance metrics.
• Support financial decision-making related to production efficiency, yield, and capacity utilization.
• Liaise with offshore and shared services teams to maintain alignment and promote knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align financial perspectives with supply, demand, and commercial strategies.
• Assist in annual budgeting, monthly re-forecasting, spend analysis, variance tracking, and scenario modeling.
• Translate operational plans into coherent financial forecasts across organizational functions.
• Ensure traceability and audit readiness of production and inventory financial data.
• Drive continuous enhancements in finance systems, reporting, and process automation.
• Support SAP implementation and optimization efforts.
• Provide assistance to FP&A Manager and broader finance team as needed.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects including cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Assume additional tasks aligned with the evolving needs of the business.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Part-qualified accounting professional (CA or CMA).
• Between 4 and 8 years of experience in multinational manufacturing, preferably Pharma or FMCG sectors.
• Proficient with JDE and SAP ERP systems.
• Advanced numerical and spreadsheet capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented, willing to exercise flexibility to accomplish key objectives.
