Role Summary
This contract role is for a Frontend Web Developer focused on HTML and CSS. The position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere. You will be supporting a client project that needs clean, responsive, and reliable front-end interfaces.
What You’ll Do
- Build and update front-end interface elements using HTML, CSS, and related tools.
- Create layouts that work smoothly across different browsers and screen sizes.
- Work closely with design teams to turn visual mockups into functional UI components.
- Improve front-end speed, usability, and accessibility.
- Take part in code reviews and help maintain front-end development standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML and CSS, including semantic and well-structured markup.
- Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Working knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or utility/framework tools like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Ability to use browser developer tools and debugging workflows effectively.
- Experience translating design files from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into web interfaces.
