Job Summary

The role involves preparing various baked goods following recipes and production guidelines to meet daily demands.

Responsibilities

• Produce baked items such as breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and pastries according to production and catering schedules.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards while operating equipment properly.
• Assist with tracking production records including waste, portion usage, and shortages; notify supervisors when inventories run low.
• Ensure food is presented attractively, maintains correct quality, portion sizes, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.
• Handle all food safely in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations during preparation and servicing.
• Thoroughly clean workstations and equipment after use; keep displays neat and debris-free.
• Engage courteously with customers, addressing concerns and escalating relevant feedback to supervisors.
• Maintain calm and accurate pace during peak production and service periods.
• Verify that food is served according to company standards.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, corporate, and OSHA guidelines consistently.
• Complete assigned shift tasks timely and thoroughly.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in baking is required.

Working Hours and Location

Position is full-time, scheduled Sunday through Thursday, with hours variable to be detailed during interview. Location is at The College of Idaho, 2112 Cleveland Boulevard, Caldwell, ID 83605. Applications are accepted online only.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage ranges between $16.00 and $18.00. Internal employee referral bonuses are available.
