General Manager

Role Overview

As the General Manager, you will oversee branch sales and internal operations, managing the sales team while collaborating with the Operations Manager to craft strategies aimed at maximizing branch growth and profitability. The position is grounded in delivering exceptional service to customers within the dental and animal health markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales activities, market trends, and customer needs to optimize sales performance.
• Lead and develop the sales team through continuous training and constructive feedback to enhance skill sets.
• Conduct performance reviews for direct reports to evaluate job effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to foster a customer-oriented culture and identify operational improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Participate in staffing decisions to ensure adequate job coverage and fulfillment of branch commitments.
• Perform additional general management duties as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sales, management, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of three years proven sales experience, preferably with a background in customer service, sales, and asset management.
• Experience supervising sales teams is highly desirable.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills with a firm customer service orientation.
• Effective leadership capabilities to build and maintain a high-performance team and promote ongoing development.
• Competency in computer skills including MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Industry-specific knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation Information

The anticipated salary range for this position spans from $128,100 to $170,833 annually. The definitive offer will reflect factors such as the candidate's geographic location, experience, and skill set.
