Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Manager to lead our KidStrong center in Leesburg, Virginia. Reporting to the Area Developer, you will be responsible for steering the center’s success through effective team leadership, business growth, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Direct and inspire a team to foster an energetic and encouraging environment for coaches and members.
- Manage sales, daily operations, and customer service to enhance growth and retention.
- Collaborate closely with the Assistant GM to maintain smooth center performance.
- Engage with the local community and implement marketing and scheduling strategies to expand class attendance.
- Lead by example by coaching 3 to 5 classes weekly.
- Recruit, hire, and train coaches ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility with a proactive "roll up your sleeves" approach.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3+ years experience in management, sales, customer service, or operations.
- Preferred background in children’s programming, fitness, education, or athletics.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire both staff and members.
- Willingness to work weekends as the primary leader of the center.
- Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and EpiPen certifications (can be completed after hire).
Physical Requirements
- Capable of maintaining an active and energetic presence throughout the workday.
- Comfortable demonstrating physical activities and coaching children.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary starting at $55,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Performance-based bonuses with attainable monthly tiers of $1,000, $1,500, and $2,000.
- Total possible annual income from $55,000 to $80,000 or more combining base pay and bonuses.

Additional Information
This role requires flexibility beyond a standard 9-to-5 schedule to ensure leadership presence during key operations and growth activities. This franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, who will handle all hiring and employment inquiries directly.
