Job Overview

This role supports multiple departments within the hotel to ensure both guests and staff receive timely assistance and items where needed. Responsibilities include delivering items directly to guest rooms and providing support to various departments such as housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front office. The role involves significant movement throughout the hotel to maintain smooth operational flow and enhance guest experiences.

Physical and Work Environment

The position requires being on one’s feet for prolonged periods, navigating confined or elevated spaces, and managing stairs and ramps. Tasks include reading and verifying information visually, inspecting equipment, and manually handling objects weighing up to 55 pounds. The Runner must perform movements such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. No prior work, supervisory experience, licenses, or certifications are required.
