Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Head Chef to join our restaurant team at Jumbochic Living (Opc) Private Limited in Kolkata. The successful candidate will specialize in preparing Chinese and Continental dishes along with café-style quick bites, ensuring top-notch food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Continental dishes, including fries and sandwiches.
- Prepare fresh juices, shakes, and basic coffee-based drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, observing food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to provide efficient service during high demand periods.
- Oversee inventory of raw materials and assist with procurement planning.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical cooking experience within restaurants or cafés.
- Expertise in Chinese and Continental cuisine preparation.
- Competence in making quick snacks, fries, and beverage items.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is negotiable based on experience, along with provision of food and accommodation if necessary. This position is offered on a full-time basis.
