About the Company
Join a leading global manufacturing enterprise as the Head of Supply Chain based in Coimbatore, India, overseeing key operational functions and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost and supplier performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory effectively, implementing Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Oversee logistics and freight forwarding operations, ensuring smooth transportation and distribution.
- Handle import and export documentation compliance, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Coordinate Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Utilize SAP systems proficiently for managing supply chain operations and reporting.
