Role Summary: HSSEQ Officer

The HSSEQ Officer will be pivotal in supporting and implementing our Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality management systems to maintain high standards and compliance across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a proactive safety culture by organizing and executing HSSEQ campaigns, training sessions, and awareness initiatives.
  • Manage both internal and external HSSEQ audits, including planning, conducting, reporting, and ensuring timely closure of corrective measures.
  • Oversee HSSEQ compliance monitoring by identifying, reporting, and escalating any deviations to reduce risks.
  • Lead thorough investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses to uncover root causes and recommend preventive steps.
  • Conduct site workplace inspections and risk assessments to detect hazards and suggest corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive HSSEQ documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness through drills, response strategy development, and continuous improvements.
  • Offer operational teams, contractors, and stakeholders expert guidance to ensure safe execution of daily activities.
  • Track key HSSEQ performance indicators and compile monthly reports to aid management decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22301.
