Role Summary
The Human Resources Generalist position at TXM Hospitals is a part-time, remote role based out of Austin, TX. The individual in this role will oversee daily HR functions such as administering employee benefits, facilitating recruitment processes, coordinating new hire onboarding, and maintaining thorough employee records. This position entails providing guidance to managers and staff regarding HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations issues, and ensuring adherence to relevant labor laws and hospital regulations.
Additional duties include collaborating with leadership on performance management initiatives, supporting training programs, and assisting HR projects that enhance employee engagement and retention. The HR Generalist will also prepare HR documentation, respond to employee inquiries, and contribute to fostering a positive and respectful workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Solid grounding in HR principles and experience in a generalist or equivalent HR capacity.
- Capability to formulate, interpret, and enforce HR policies aligned with organizational and legal standards.
- Familiarity with employee benefits administration including enrollment, modifications, and employee communications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills enabling trust-building across diverse teams.
- Preferably experience in healthcare or hospital settings with knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Competency with HR information systems (HRIS) and standard office software, along with keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Proven professionalism in managing confidential information and capability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with others.
