Role Overview

This role supports the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. It involves providing expert advice to employees and managers on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support managers in employment law compliance, handling grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management, and performance oversight.

  • Update and create HR policies and procedures reflecting legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest HR legislation, initiatives, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to HR projects and assist HR management with key initiatives.
  • Serve as a contact point for HR inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Assist HR administration with email management, new hire paperwork, record updates, and offboarding processes.
  • Address escalated administration issues and forward unresolved matters to HR Business Partners promptly.
  • Attend meetings as requested by HR leadership.
  • Prepare HR reports for management and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other internal teams including Health and Safety, Quality, Finance, and others for smooth HR operations.

Qualifications and Skills
