Role Overview
The IT Support Analyst position is essential for maintaining the reliability and security of Habitat Health's IT infrastructure. This role involves providing technical assistance to staff, resolving hardware and software issues, administering Microsoft 365 applications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare technology standards. The position is suited for early-career professionals with one to three years of IT support experience aiming to advance in enterprise technology environments. This hybrid role requires spending 50-75% of work time onsite at clinic locations in West Covina and Compton, with remote work allowed for the remainder. Traveling between these locations is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver both onsite and remote technical support for various devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues promptly.
- Respond to support tickets, calls, emails, and direct assistance requests efficiently while documenting incidents and solutions thoroughly.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT personnel or external vendors when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems and associated hardware.
- Manage device deployment including new employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Apply software deployments, security patches, and OS updates proactively.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets such as computers, monitors, and accessories.
- Support Microsoft 365 suite applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Assist with user account administration, password resets, and access management.
- Support conference room technology and audiovisual equipment; experience with telephony systems is advantageous.
- Help troubleshoot basic networking issues and manage wireless access points, networked printers, and scanners.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to address technical challenges.
- Provide exceptional customer service, clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users, and adhere to IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, technology, business, or a related field.
- Between one and three years of relevant IT support experience, including desktop hardware support, Microsoft domain and tenant administration, network infrastructure management, endpoint device administration, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with third-party healthcare IT systems is preferred.
- Proficient in installation and configuration of Microsoft products.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Additional Skills
- Certifications in Microsoft administration.
- Networking certifications such as Meraki, Cisco, or Fortigate/FortiNet.
- Experience with telephony platforms like Braadsoft or Talkdesk.
- IT security certifications.
Essential Physical and Functional Requirements
- The role requires work in varied environments—healthcare, administrative, community, or remote settings.
- Effective communication with participants, team members, and stakeholders through in-person, phone, and electronic channels.
- Ability to stay stationary or move about for prolonged periods as required by duties.
- Operation of standard office equipment and clinical tools including computers, phones, and medical devices.
- Travel between multiple work sites and community locations as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected base salary ranges from $84,000 to $98,000 annually, with eligibility for a target bonus of 10% and possible additional incentives based on performance and business needs.
