Role Purpose & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration, and operation of enterprise-scale business applications.
- Leverage strong expertise in core Java and the Spring framework to develop robust software solutions.
- Provide leadership and hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Develop rich Angular applications as part of full-stack development tasks.
- Utilize various AWS services with a focus on managed offerings including Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, S3, API Gateway, AWS CI/CD tools, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Create and manage infrastructure through code using AWS tools like the Cloud Development Kit and CloudFormation.
- Automate deployment pipelines and support continuous integration and delivery using tools like Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Adopt Agile/Scrum development methodologies and utilize backlog management tools such as Agility (VersionOne) and Jira.
- Implement microservices architecture using design patterns for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Understand techniques for loosely coupling frontend modules on AWS cloud environments.
- Deploy and maintain containerized applications and infrastructures using Docker, OpenShift, and AWS services.
- Compose complex SQL and PL/SQL queries involving joins and subqueries; work with relational databases such as Oracle and AWS RDS.
