Role overview

As a Junior Editor, you will support the Post Production team in producing short-form and mid-form content for DAZN’s broadcast, digital and social channels. Working with Editors, Producers and Post Producers, you will help turn sports stories into engaging edits while building your technical and creative skills.

You will work across different sports, markets and audience types, supporting content from the initial brief through to final delivery while meeting DAZN’s editorial and technical standards. This role is well suited to someone looking to start a career in sports post-production in a fast-moving and collaborative setting.

What you'll do

• Assist with editing short-form and mid-form content for broadcast, the DAZN platform and social media.
• Support Editors and Producers with project setup, media organisation and content delivery.
• Edit promotional pieces, highlights, social cutdowns and digital marketing material.
• Work from creative briefs while following edit styles, brand rules and production schedules.
• Prepare edits for review and apply both creative and technical feedback.
• Handle several editing tasks at once and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
• Work closely with Editors, Producers and Post Producers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Keep project files structured and help maintain smooth post-production workflows.
• Flag production risks or timing issues that could affect delivery.
• Support live broadcasts when needed, including occasional evening and weekend shifts.

What you need

• Some background in video editing or media production gained through work, internships, freelance projects or study.
• Practical familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Understanding of post-production workflows and delivery for broadcast or digital content.
• Basic working knowledge of colour correction, audio editing and exporting media files.
• Strong organisation and a sharp eye for detail.
• Extra advantage if you can use Adobe After Effects.
• A genuine interest in sport, especially boxing, NFL and football.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and stay effective under pressure and deadlines.
• A portfolio or showreel that demonstrates editing ability and creative potential.
