Role Overview

PulseMedia is hiring a junior front-end developer to work remotely from the MENA region. This role is suited to an early-career developer who enjoys modern web development and wants to build polished, high-performing digital experiences while collaborating with designers, marketers, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain responsive, easy-to-use websites and landing pages for healthcare and wellness clients.
• Translate UI/UX designs into front-end code that is organized, reusable, and easy to maintain.
• Develop digital marketing assets that provide a strong experience across devices.
• Partner with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver quality work on time.
• Support improvements related to SEO, conversion optimization, and website performance.
• Contribute ideas in team discussions and help improve development processes.
• Improve site speed, accessibility, and compatibility across major browsers.
• Ensure the front end performs well on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
• Follow best practices for usability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
• Update WordPress sites and other content management systems as needed.
• Implement content changes, page structures, and reusable templates.
• Assist with ongoing feature enhancements and site improvements.
• Find and fix visual issues and front-end bugs.
• Test pages across browsers and devices to maintain dependable performance.
• Help uphold strong coding standards and overall quality.
• Stay current with modern front-end tools, techniques, and industry practices.
• Join code reviews and work with senior developers to improve your skills.
• Continue building technical ability and problem-solving confidence.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance projects, personal projects, or junior-level roles.
• Experience contributing to live websites or web applications is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first development.
• Exposure to React, Vue.js, or comparable front-end frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Basic awareness of SEO-friendly front-end practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git or another version control system.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Basic understanding of website performance tuning and cross-browser testing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setup.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve continuously.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines is a plus.
• Exposure to healthcare, medical, or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and modern development workflows is a plus.
• English fluency is preferred; Arabic is a strong advantage.
