About the Role
GOT IT MADE Kitchens & Cabinetry is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer and Consultant to become part of our team in Te Awamutu. This role is perfectly suited for an individual who excels not only in kitchen design skills but also brings confidence in sales and relationship management.
As a Kitchen Designer and Consultant, you will collaborate directly with local homeowners, builders, developers, and industry partners to create attractive, functional kitchens and cabinetry solutions. Your involvement will range from initial consultations to finalising confirmed projects. Our integrated onsite facility, which includes a showroom, offices, and manufacturing factory, provides a seamless connection between design and production.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in kitchen design.
- Strong sales track record with ability to confidently convert enquiries.
- Excellent communication skills and client relationship management.
- Capability to build and sustain relationships within the industry.
- Practical knowledge of cabinetry, materials, kitchen layouts, and functionality.
- Professional, organised, and focused on providing solutions.
- Formal qualifications are a plus but not mandatory; experience and sales aptitude are crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop and present kitchen designs and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Follow up on sales opportunities to maximise conversion.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships within residential and trade sectors.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position requiring attendance at our Te Awamutu location.
