About the Role
Brandt is seeking a Labourer to join their team at the Fort St John location, supporting the heavy equipment service department. This role involves assisting technicians and contributing to maintaining the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the shop and equipment areas. It offers a valuable entry point for individuals looking to eventually pursue an apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning and preparation of heavy equipment following repairs.
- Maintain and ensure the cleanliness and functionality of wash bay facilities.
- Clean various parts and components as required.
- Keep the yard and shop areas tidy and well-maintained.
- Support the dismantling process of heavy equipment and its components.
- Organize equipment storage in the yard and maintain dealership grounds, including grading, leveling, and snow removal.
- Assist in inventory control and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with shop personnel to support their duties and enhance the productivity of the service department.
- Carry out additional assigned tasks as necessary.
