Role Definition
This role demands expertise in the Logitech Playbook and a deep understanding of navigating C&D processes and deliverables, including their intersection with other Logitech teams. The Lead Design Program Manager oversees daily management of project timelines and deliverables, facilitates stakeholder coordination, and manages project management AI teams to streamline tasks focusing on strategic priorities. This manager is not a creative or design practitioner and does not make technical decisions but rather facilitates and optimizes workflows proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure seamless transitions at each phase.
- Provide real-time status updates through dashboards and weekly reports highlighting progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Consolidate meeting outcomes, feedback, and follow-up actions within 24 hours.
- Facilitate resolution of feedback, decision-making, and resource alignment among global stakeholders.
- Establish shared communication platforms and organize regular meetings to maintain engagement.
- Lead feedback-oriented discussions including retrospectives and SWOT analyses, standardizing communication formats for global coherence.
- Partner with C&D Operations to address contractor/vendor needs and support functional leads with project challenges.
- Use tools like RACI charts and Asana to clarify roles and enhance cross-team collaboration internationally.
- Align workflows and deliverables across Creative, Design, Product Marketing, and Engineering to synchronize product lifecycle schedules and communications.
- Drive early requirement-setting to shape timelines and objectives strategically.
- Bridge interdisciplinary gaps relating to Industrial Design, Color, Materials & Finishes, and New Unique Designs.
- Transform project challenges and trade-offs into clear options to guide high-level decision-making.
- Manage and resolve conflicts arising from resource allocation, deadlines, and priorities to build consensus and meet business goals.
- Maintain efficient communication and decision-making channels among global teams for timely project progression.
- Continuously map and refine processes to align with Logitech's strategic goals and organizational needs.
