Job Summary
This contingent Logistics Coordinator role operates remotely across the United States with assigned shift hours from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, including weekends and public holidays. As a member of the Logistics Management team within the Customer Service department, the coordinator reports to Logistics Managers and manages shipment exception alerts, client and carrier communications, and various administrative and project tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor live shipment exceptions using Cryoport’s web portal and email alerts.
- Promptly escalate shipment issues and delays to Logistics Managers.
- Answer and route inbound calls from clients and carriers appropriately.
- Communicate proactively with carriers and clients during shipment progress, employing both written and verbal follow-ups.
- Handle onboarding procedures for new clients and process order entries and approvals.
- Coordinate regularly with internal teams including Operations, Accounting, Management, and Sales.
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry and assist with special projects or tasks as assigned.
- Maintain flexibility to work after hours or weekends when required.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
- Preferably at least two years’ experience in general logistics management combined with customer service responsibilities.
Compensation
This position offers compensation at a rate of $22 per hour.
