We are focused on driving hardware innovation at software speeds by developing AI-powered simulation software for diverse engineering and manufacturing sectors. Our solutions enable high-fidelity, multi-physics simulations through artificial intelligence integration, enhancing optimization and automation capabilities in design, manufacturing, and operations. Our clients encompass top innovators in Aerospace & Defense, Materials, Energy, Semiconductors, and Automotive industries.
Role Overview
We seek a Machine Learning Engineer for our Singapore team who is a proficient problem solver and technical guide, with a strong focus on impactful outcomes. This role requires understanding complex engineering principles across multiple sectors and leading technical projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, often on-site, to embed advanced AI models into practical, widely utilized tools. This opportunity places you at the forefront of establishing our regional team with significant autonomy to influence its development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of machine learning models and surrogate engineering models including deep learning applications on CAE, CFD, FEA data, along with forecasting, anomaly detection, and control optimizations within customer production environments.
- Effectively communicate findings, trade-offs, and influence the product roadmap with senior leadership based on solid evidence.
- Oversee architectural design and scoping of data and ML systems, establishing success criteria, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable ML systems, including training and inference pipelines along with APIs, for both cloud and on-premises environments, utilizing technologies like Python, PyTorch, Pandas, FastAPI, SciPy, and Kubeflow.
- Provide mentorship and technical direction to engineers and data scientists, making considered decisions in high-pressure scenarios.
- Travel internationally approximately 3-4 weeks quarterly to collaborate directly with customers across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
- Identify and scope new project opportunities with existing clients and contribute to business development activities for new customer acquisition.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
The candidate will have minimum three years of industry experience beyond a Master's or PhD in a commercial, applied setting (non-research). Strong leadership and ownership of complex projects are essential, alongside the ability to enhance existing systems to align with dynamic customer requirements. We foster an inclusive culture, welcoming applications from diverse, traditionally underrepresented groups in tech.
