About the Role

The Singapore Swimming Club is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the daily maintenance operations ensuring that all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, facilities, and equipment are in excellent working order, safe, and compliant with standards. This position involves supervising technicians and contractors, coordinating maintenance activities, and maintaining operational and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the M&E technicians in their daily tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency in work.
  • Plan, assign, and track maintenance tasks, repairs, and enhancement projects to ensure prompt completion.

  • Carry out regular inspections of equipment and facilities to detect defects and prioritize maintenance efforts.
  • Ensure timely and effective handling of repair requests and complaints.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, such as maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection reports.
  • Adhere strictly to departmental standard operating procedures, club policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage inventory of tools and spare parts, ensuring correct usage and stock control.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving maintenance operations, reliability, and service quality.
  • Perform additional operational duties as assigned by the Head of Department or management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of at least a Higher Nitec certification in Mechanical or Building Services.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar maintenance or operational role.
  • Knowledgeable in air-conditioning, electrical, sound, and plumbing systems.
  • Holding a valid plumber license is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in hotel or club environments is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
