Job Description

We are expanding our team in the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals division and seek a Mechanical Site Engineer to join a highly qualified construction team. This role involves overseeing and executing mechanical site work, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements within EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute mechanical site operations following approved plans, project specs, and timelines.
• Supervise daily activities to maintain safety, quality, and scheduling standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless site progress.
• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and method statements.
• Ensure company HSE policies and Permit-to-Work regulations are strictly followed, including health and safety inspections.
• Track construction progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, and communicate updates to project leadership.
• Manage resources such as personnel, materials, tools, and equipment for optimal site efficiency.
• Identify and resolve site technical challenges by liaising with engineering and quality assurance teams.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and client representatives for inspections and compliance verification.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned work packages and assist during project handover phases.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Educational qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical site execution within the Oil & Gas or EPC construction environment.
• Proven ability to supervise mechanical construction work in relevant sectors.
• Experience collaborating with subcontractors, clients, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Solid knowledge of project specifications, construction standards, safety regulations, and Permit-to-Work processes.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, site inspections, and project documentation practices.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering and construction drawings and documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
