Role Overview
TBWA New Zealand is seeking a skilled Intermediate Motion Designer to become a part of their Auckland-based design team in a full-time permanent position. This role primarily focuses on 2D motion design with significant value placed on strong video editing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will create a variety of visual content including campaign films, social media assets, television commercials, case studies, pitch presentations, internal event content, and digital out-of-home (DOOH) media. Collaboration is essential, as the role involves working closely with producers, creatives, designers, and account managers to bring concepts to fruition with an emphasis on detail, execution quality, and craftsmanship.
Candidate Profile
Applicants must have a minimum of three years professional experience in 2D motion design, with proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro, and strong editing skills. Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is important. Experience with Cinema 4D and Redshift is advantageous but not mandatory. The position offers opportunities for further training in editing, 3D techniques, and AI-assisted workflows to enhance relevant skills.
