Role overview

We are hiring a Payroll Processor to support payroll operations for a U.S.-based team. The position focuses on accurate payroll calculations, record maintenance, and issue resolution while working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role is between $50,000 and $70,000.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Workday is required.
You should bring at least 3 years of experience processing payroll across multiple states.
Strong computer literacy, including efficient data entry and time management, is important.
The role calls for good judgment and practical problem-solving ability.
You must be comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.
High accuracy and close attention to detail are essential.

Key responsibilities

Carry out a range of payroll and recordkeeping tasks, including accurate wage and overtime calculations.
Review and verify timekeeping records to ensure they meet established requirements.
Handle manual checks and off-cycle payroll runs.
Audit payroll outputs to confirm correctness.
Work with urgency to meet payroll deadlines.
Communicate clearly with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
Investigate employee payroll questions and provide responses.
Identify and fix payroll discrepancies by gathering and analyzing relevant information.
Be open to taking on additional payroll-related responsibilities as part of the wider team.
