Production Planner

About the Role

We seek motivated individuals eager to innovate, grow, and lead within a globally recognized energy sector provider. As a Production Planner, you will gain valuable experience managing production orders and overseeing daily shop floor operations under supervision. This role serves as an entry point into the Manufacturing Scheduling career path, offering foundational responsibilities in planning and execution.

Key Duties

• Manage production orders and coordinate daily activities on the manufacturing floor while following established procedures.
• Plan and schedule routine production runs for assigned product lines, ensuring timely delivery within short-term horizons (less than 30 days).
• Release production orders appropriately, use dispatch reports to synchronize schedule execution, and perform inventory management to enhance material flow.
• Develop foundational knowledge in forecasting, finished product management, material requirements planning (MRP), Excel, Theory of Constraints, master data handling, engineering change management, and optimizing inventory turnover.

Qualifications

• Preferable experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years professional experience in manufacturing, procurement, or customer service.
