Production Supervisor

Role Overview

Join a leading stainless steel kitchen manufacturing and export company as a Production Supervisor in Chengalpattu. This role demands hands-on oversight of production activities, ensuring machinery and manpower operate effectively to meet organizational goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the entire production process to meet targets and quality standards.
• Supervise the shop floor activities ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Monitor operation and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic press machines, and sheet metal forming equipment.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and promote safe working conditions.
• Manage manpower including allocation, training, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation and generate regular production reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
• Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure production effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, ITI Certification in any specialization, or B.Tech/B.E. in any discipline.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, particularly hydraulic and pneumatic press machines.
• Experience with 5S system and lean manufacturing principles advantageous.
