Job Overview
This position involves collaborating closely with IT leadership to ensure effective deployment and adherence to project management standards, processes, and governance across the organization. The analyst will monitor project progress, aid project managers, and ensure projects meet budgetary, scope, and timeline requirements. The role also encompasses managing change requests in alignment with IT service management frameworks and coordinating between implementers and Change Advisory Boards to guarantee smooth transitions. Familiarity with enterprise application environments, especially SAP S/4HANA, is essential to manage changes, transport releases, and assess operational impacts effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely preparation and dissemination of project and ticket status updates to stakeholders.
- Track project progress rigorously to ensure all phases meet predetermined timelines and requirements.
- Create, maintain, and share all project documentation as appropriate.
- Conduct regular project status meetings on weekly and monthly bases.
- Propose enhancements to project methodologies when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of IT governance meetings, including meeting minutes distribution.
- Support IT compliance by ensuring process, policy, and procedure adherence.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure all change activities comply with Albatha Group's IT Change Management standards.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board meetings to review and approve changes.
- Perform audits and evaluations post-project to capture lessons learned for future improvements.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to maximize utility and identify enhancement areas.
- Conduct risk assessments and formulate mitigation plans accordingly.
- Uphold compliance with company policies, ISO certifications (27001 and 20000-1), and contractual IT/MIS obligations.
- Implement controls fulfilling governmental regulations within ISMS and IT SMS frameworks.
- Adhere to environmentally sustainable Green IT policies in daily activities.
- Coordinate responses to internal customer support requests promptly.
- Assist with organizing and preparing steering committee meetings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback for project refinement.
- Maintain productive relationships with end users aligning IT with business goals.
- Engage effectively with external vendors and partners to ensure service delivery meets organizational standards.
- Promote a collaborative and supportive team culture, motivating and developing team members within performance management frameworks.
- Inform leadership on critical issues and corrective actions.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of project management processes and tools.
- Stay current with industry best practices and promote adoption of innovative project tools and methodologies.
- Steer team commitment to company mission and values via regular team meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree from a university or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT PMO, Project Coordination, or Change Analyst roles in ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
- Preferred certifications include PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructure and applications.
- Advantageous to have understanding of SAP S/4HANA landscape, firewalls, antivirus solutions, servers, networks, and operating systems.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
