About the Role
We are inviting applications for the position of Programme Coordinator to support the successful execution of a major, high-profile initiative known as Start Well. This role demands exceptional organisational skills and proactive coordination to manage administrative duties effectively across a multifaceted programme involving numerous partners in a politically sensitive setting.
The position requires close collaboration with healthcare professionals, operational teams, regional partners, and various stakeholders in a lively, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative and coordination assistance across various programme workstreams.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Keep programme documentation, action logs, and tracking systems accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor outstanding actions and engage with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Contribute to programme reporting activities by aiding in the development of papers and presentations.
- Assist in monitoring risks and issues, including escalation when necessary.
- Facilitate communication among internal team members and external partners.
- Maintain records that comply with governance and information management standards.

The Start Well programme is a transformative project redesigning maternity, neonatal, and paediatric surgical services in North Central London. Having passed the Decision-Making Business Case stage, the programme is moving into its implementation phase to ensure every child receives the best start in life. The Start Well team is hosted by Whittington Health.
