Role Overview
The position of Project Support Manager is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in Harare. This role focuses on coordinating project activities and managing project documentation to help project managers meet deadlines, budgets, and quality goals. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, generating reports and dashboards, and identifying any risks or issues that could impact delivery timelines. Regular communication with internal departments, clients, and stakeholders is critical to provide status updates, clarify expectations, and ensure project objectives are aligned.
Additionally, the role involves planning and conducting training or onboarding sessions about project management tools, workflows, and best practices. The Project Support Manager also contributes to refining project processes continuously.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong abilities in project support and management, including coordination, scheduling, and maintaining documentation.
- Analytical skills to assess data, monitor performance indicators, and detect trends or risks.
- Effective communication skills to engage clearly with teams, clients, and stakeholders professionally.
- Training capabilities to design and deliver sessions on project-related tools, standards, and procedures.
- Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or similar areas.
- Experience in handling multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration software such as MS Office and project tracking tools is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to function independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
