Role Overview
As the Receptionist for SO/ Ras Al Khaimah within the All-Inclusive Collection, you will be the initial contact point for guests and play a key role in delivering a warm, smooth, and efficient arrival-to-departure experience. The position includes managing check-ins and check-outs, sharing hotel information, and supporting guests with requests while reflecting the brand’s bold, stylish, and playful character.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive guests courteously and help create a strong first impression of the property.
- Process arrivals and departures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Update reservations, room allocations, and guest details in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Address guest questions, service requests, and complaints quickly and professionally.
- Share information about hotel amenities, services, promotions, and nearby attractions.
- Work closely with housekeeping, bell desk, and concierge teams to keep guest service running smoothly.
- Keep guest records, billing details, and payment information correct and up to date.
- Handle cash, card payments, and POS transactions with care and accuracy.
- Support VIP handling and special requests to improve guest satisfaction.
- Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and SO/ service standards at all times.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene requirements at the front desk.
- Recommend hotel services, packages, and special offers to improve the guest experience and support revenue goals.
- Assist the Front Office Supervisor and Manager with daily reports, audits, and administrative work when needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a receptionist or front office agent in a luxury hotel or resort is preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Well-developed organizational ability and a sharp eye for detail.
- Working knowledge of PMS platforms, reservation handling, and front office procedures.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Presentable, confident, and aligned with SO/ brand expectations.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to resolve problems and handle guest concerns tactfully.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
