Refuse and Recycling Loader

Job Location and Schedule

This position is based in Watton (IP25 6JB), England. The role requires full-time commitment at 40 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and additional Saturdays following bank holiday weekends.

Role Overview

As a Refuse & Recycling Loader within the Breckland team, you will be essential to providing comprehensive waste and recycling collection services for residents and businesses in Watton. Working alongside a professional team of refuse collectors, you will help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of streets, homes, and commercial areas, while delivering excellent customer service to the community.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with drivers and other loaders to complete pre-planned waste and recycling routes.
• Act as the public-facing representative of Serco’s Environmental Services in the community.
• Help preserve the local environment to keep it attractive, safe, and clean for residents and businesses.
