Robotic Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned PLC and Robot Engineer to join our team at Ramajayam Associates LLP, located in Mehsana, India. Candidates with prior experience in the forging industry will be given preference. The role involves programming, maintaining, and optimizing PLC-controlled machinery, robotic systems, CNC machines, and industrial automation within an automotive manufacturing or stamping plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, update, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC systems including models S7-200, S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500, and Failsafe units using the TIA Portal software.
• Set up and manage Siemens WinCC HMI/SCADA platforms effectively.
• Maintain and resolve issues in Siemens CNC systems such as 802D, 802DSL, and 828D models.
• Identify and repair faults in robot controllers, PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, CNC controllers, electric motors, and general electrical systems.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and electrical upgrades of manufacturing equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of plant machinery.
• Manage the inventory of critical electrical spare parts to support maintenance activities.
• Prepare and analyze maintenance reports, focusing on key performance indicators including MTTR and MTBF.
• Assist in the deployment of Industry 4.0 solutions and smart manufacturing projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, minimum qualification.
• At least 5 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within the automotive manufacturing or stamping plant sectors.
• Proficient in programming Siemens PLCs and handling servo systems from Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Omron.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens WinCC, TIA Portal HMI, and CNC machine systems (Siemens 802D series).
• Strong electrical maintenance skills including power and control panels, motor systems, wiring, and fault diagnosis.
• Capable of troubleshooting and modifying ladder logic and robot controllers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a capability to work autonomously.

Additional Information
