Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to create new business opportunities across the DACH region. As the initial point of contact for potential healthcare customers, you will build and qualify a pipeline, collaborating closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Leadership to accelerate growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role provides a pathway to advancement in sales leadership and business development within the SaaS and healthcare technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential healthcare clients through outbound prospecting techniques including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Manage a sales pipeline comprising healthcare providers, clinics, and organizations in your territory.
- Assess customer workflows and challenges to qualify leads effectively.
- Arrange discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives.
- Ensure CRM is updated with accurate activity and pipeline information.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to optimize outreach and territory strategies.
- Collect market insights and customer feedback to inform go-to-market tactics.
- Represent Tandem professionally as the company’s first commercial contact.

Candidate Profile
- Some experience in sales, business development, customer service, recruitment, hospitality, or healthcare-related roles.
- Strong communication and confidence engaging decision-makers via phone, email, and video calls.
- Resilient, curious, and self-driven with a structured approach to outreach and follow-up.
- Genuine interest in healthcare, SaaS, digital health, or technology innovation.
- Growth-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in German (native-level) and professional proficiency in English.
Additional Advantages
- Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, lead generation, or appointment setting.
- Background working with healthcare providers or medical software.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Prior roles in SaaS, medtech, digital health startups, or high-growth companies.

Hiring Process
