Role Overview
Joining Box as a Sales Development Representative offers the chance to advance our platform's impact. Content management is essential for workflows involving contracts, invoices, employee information, financial data, product details, marketing materials, and more. Our mission is to blend AI with enterprise content to revolutionize organizational workflows. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving this transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for new customers through sales channels and respond quickly to their queries
- Engage prospective clients via calls, emails, and marketing efforts to generate business opportunities
- Build relationships with diverse client groups and encourage dialogue about Box solutions
- Listen attentively to understand customer needs and explain how Box products address those requirements
- Consistently achieve quota targets for revenue growth in assigned territories
- Use Salesforce according to company standards and provide accurate lead metrics
- Close deals independently with smaller organizations when appropriate
Candidate Profile
- Motivated to pursue a career in outbound sales
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Experienced in customer interaction and problem-solving
- Effective at managing time and prioritizing tasks
- Skilled in building and nurturing client relationships
- Excellent communicator with the ability to identify sales opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in lead generation or sales roles
- Proven ability to meet performance metrics in a target-driven environment
Work Environment
Box prioritizes community and face-to-face collaboration. Employees are expected to work onsite at least three days per week, focusing on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Specific details about company culture will be shared during the recruitment process.
