Role Overview
The Sales Representative will promote and expand advanced life science tools focused on next-generation sequencing (NGS), delivering technical solutions and meeting sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert customer solutions using NGS technical knowledge and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct customer visits and promptly respond to technical inquiries offering professional support.
- Train distributors on products, technologies, and solutions, collaborating closely to meet sales goals.
- Stay updated with NGS technological advances and market trends; liaise with key opinion leaders to enhance product promotion.
- Participate in marketing events and lead technical seminars to introduce or update customers on products regularly.
- Gather and relay market intelligence and competitor information to marketing and R&D teams for strategic planning.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics, or Bioinformatics.
- Proficient understanding of Next Generation Sequencing, genomics, genetics markets, and gene sequencer applications.
- Minimum two years’ experience in sales or technical support of genetics/genomics instruments, with strong service orientation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities; resilient under stress and open to challenges.
- Highly self-driven with a strong inclination to learn new technologies and skills; flexible to frequent travel.
- Preferred to have an existing network of customer relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills in client-facing contexts.
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
