Role Overview

As a Services Manager, you will lead and supervise projects to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include managing project processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and guiding strategic decisions related to service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze contract services drawings and specifications to fully comprehend project requirements.
• Evaluate Tender Proposals for service trades to identify material, equipment, resource, cost, and time optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Contract Administrators and Project Managers on contract administration issues, including claims, securities, variations, and matters involving service consultants.
• Detect critical service design and delivery risks and develop mitigation and resolution strategies.
• Explore alternative service designs and cost-saving measures that align with project goals.
• Oversee the services Design Program alongside Consultants and Senior Project Managers, ensuring alignment with Procurement and Construction schedules.
• Manage service inputs and outputs in design meetings to maintain program alignment.
• Ensure buildability coordination with RCC Project teams.
• Resolve detailed services design challenges, seeking opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
• Coordinate service design documents to satisfy Principal’s needs while adhering to RCC’s budget and timeline.
• Ensure service design documentation meets specified requirements.
• Support the Project Manager in negotiating Subcontractor packages to guarantee comprehensive scope coverage.
• Review Subcontractor Agreements prior to issuance to confirm inclusion of special conditions.
• Plan and supervise commissioning and handover activities in collaboration with the Test & Commissioning team.

Candidate Profile

• Significant experience in senior service management roles on substantial construction projects.
• Proven leadership in managing service teams effectively.
• Expertise in developing and applying service delivery strategies and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of construction industry service standards and requirements.
• Skills in client relationship management and promoting customer satisfaction.
• Capability to provide strategic insight regarding service-related decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
