Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shipper to join our head office team in Les Cèdres, Quebec. Under the supervision of the Material Manager, you will be responsible for the careful packaging and shipping of aeronautical products, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Package aeronautical goods adhering to industry standards to prevent transit damage and comply with dangerous goods regulations.
  • Generate shipping documentation electronically following company policies, regulatory requirements, and supplier guidelines.
  • Label and identify aeronautical items accurately to maintain traceability according to company procedures.
  • Measure package dimensions, confirm weights, and compute volume for shipping.
  • Determine optimal shipping routes and transportation methods based on deadline urgency and cost-efficiency through research and communication.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for conformity to company standards.
  • Handle aeronautical materials safely and operate forklifts as needed.
  • Perform delivery duties as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in shipping and receiving zones.
  • Undertake additional tasks as delegated.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of High School diploma.
  • Proficient with computers, especially within Microsoft Office suite.
