Roles and Responsibilities

• Expertise in high-voltage underground cable systems operating up to 132kV.
• In-depth knowledge of cable accessories such as joints and terminations.
• Capability to execute site acceptance testing and commissioning procedures proficiently.
• Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and detailed project specifications.
• Understanding of applicable international standards, including IEC, IEEE, and CIGRE recommendations.
• Experience conducting VLF, AC Resonant, Sheath Testing, Insulation Resistance, and Continuity Tests.
• Adherence to electrical safety protocols and effective permit-to-work systems.
• Skillful preparation of technical documentation and reporting as per requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Between 1 to 3 years of practical experience in testing, commissioning, and working on high-voltage transmission cables or electrical substations.
• Prior involvement with SEC projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages is mandatory.
